Job Summary

The Operational Purchaser will be responsible for ensuring production and delivery capability by independently procuring necessary materials and products. Key daily tasks include planning and organizing orders, monitoring delivery deadlines, and managing stock levels. This role acts as a crucial interface, coordinating with internal departments such as Sales, Logistics, and Product Management. Responsibilities also extend to creating and maintaining supplier contracts, conducting audits, and controlling invoices. The ideal candidate will also contribute to optimizing existing purchasing and warehouse processes. Success in this role requires a structured, analytical approach, strong communication skills, and very good fluency in both German and English.

Education

Completed basic training (Grundausbildung) in a commercial or technical field

Experience

  • Professional experience in operational purchasing or material disposition
  • Ideally, several years of experience in a technical environment
  • Further training in Purchasing, Logistics, or Business Administration is advantageous
