Job Summary

This role involves serving as the Specialist Expert for Earthworks within the Geotechnics and Waste Management department of Germany's primary infrastructure operator. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing construction measures, providing expert technical consultation in earthworks, and initiating construction planning preparations. A core part of the job is the technical evaluation of construction services, including preparing specifications for external geotechnical reports and quality checking those reports. You will also be responsible for design documents, incorporating geotechnical findings and calculations. The role requires extensive experience in earthworks, preferably in road construction, coupled with detailed knowledge of relevant German regulatory frameworks (e.g., HVA F-StB, VOB, ZTV E-StB 17).
