Job Summary
As a Structural Engineer for Autobahn GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining Germany's federal highway infrastructure. You will hold full responsibility for the planning, construction, and operation of engineering structures, such as bridges and tunnels. Your daily activities will include developing preliminary designs, execution plans, and renovation concepts, as well as performing static and structural physical calculations. You will act as a key technical contact for construction execution and approval processes, steering interdisciplinary projects and managing external planning contracts from procurement to completion. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master's or Diploma) in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering, or equivalent professional qualifications and experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in structural engineering and civil engineering
- Experience in the planning, construction, and operation of engineering structures
- Experience in conducting static and structural physical calculations
- Experience in construction project management and program control
- Experience with public procurement and contract negotiation
- Long-term professional experience in the field is preferred

- The position is based in Germany with a permanent contract (unbefristet). Candidates must be willing to work with specialized German administrative software and adhere to federal highway administration standards.
