Job Summary

This role involves specialized project planning and programming for sophisticated plant automation systems, primarily focusing on process control within the chemical industry. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for adapting existing control software, developing and editing plant and process visualizations, and executing comprehensive function tests and commissioning procedures. A crucial part of the role is providing technical support to maintenance teams regarding Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MSR) technology issues and contributing to continuous improvement processes. Successful candidates must possess excellent PLC knowledge, specific expertise in MSR technology and sensor systems (preferably ABB), and professional experience in a comparable position. This position requires a proactive approach to project work, strong teamwork capabilities, and readiness for daytime shifts combined with fixed on-call duties.
