Job Summary

This role involves supporting the IT infrastructure and technical administration at the Bavarian State Office for Statistics in Fürth. The specialist will primarily focus on software management, including software distribution and patch management, to support over 1,000 users and 200 internal applications. Key responsibilities include administering IT security applications like Endpoint Security, managing back-office tools such as knowledge bases and license management systems, and handling user and rights administration via Active Directory and Exchange. Candidates should possess a relevant university degree or an IT vocational qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) combined with proven professional experience. Basic experience in software distribution and patch management, ideally with baramundi Management Suite, is highly desirable, along with strong Windows Server knowledge.
