Job Summary

This role involves the technical operation and management of server-based specialized applications for the Bavarian State Office for Statistics in Fürth. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for the commissioning, configuration, and monitoring of diverse technical procedures, as well as planning and executing application migrations and release updates. You will work closely with the IT Service Center of the Free State of Bavaria and external service providers to ensure system stability and resolve malfunctions. The position offers a high degree of responsibility in a modern office environment with significant remote work flexibility. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT system integration or server administration
  • Practical experience with Unix-based systems and SQL database management
  • Experience in the administration of web server technologies such as Tomcat or JBoss
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting and system monitoring
  • Experience in application migration and release management is preferred
