Job Summary

This role involves providing essential financial and administrative support for the "Change4Port" project, a significant initiative funded by the BMAS and ESF focused on managing the transformation, digitalization, and automation of the Bremerhaven container port through qualification programs. The Finance Administration Officer will primarily manage project budgets, ensure the proper use of funds, and handle reporting to funding bodies. Key responsibilities include preparing documentation for internal reports, creating fund requests and statements of expenditure, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation in compliance with funding regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or commercial training, strong numerical comprehension, and preferably experience with third-party funded projects. This is a part-time position (19.5 hours/week) with the option to increase to full-time, contracted until December 31, 2028, offering a meaningful, varied role within a supportive team environment.
