Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Senior Expert in Material Data Management, focusing on the digital future of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) as part of a major digitalization partner. The expert will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors in medium to large IT projects, structuring tasks, and managing project activities across all phases. A core function is the analysis and conceptual design of system- and application-spanning data provision within customer systems, alongside providing strategic consulting on the development of Data Management and Data Governance. Candidates need a background in IT or technical studies, extensive experience in managing IT projects (ideally public sector), and deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, and relevant data standards (ASD / IPS S-Series, AECMA). The position requires ensuring high data quality and process alignment across the technical department and the organization, contributing significantly to one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures.
