Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation and security of IT-supported operational systems and networked/non-networked facilities at a high-security site focused on managing radioactive waste. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the continuous testing, maintenance, installation, and setup of these complex systems, including crane and PLC controls. Key daily tasks include operating, maintaining, and repairing technical systems, contributing to IT security implementation, and managing access controls and inventory lists. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or a comparable electro-technical background with extensive IT knowledge, coupled with professional experience in handling programmable logic controllers (PLCs), such as Siemens Simatic S7. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Automation Technician, or comparable electro-technical specialist training with broad IT knowledge

Experience

  • Professional experience in handling programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Professional experience with operational IT applications
  • Experience in troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of networked and non-networked technical systems
  • Desirable experience in network infrastructures (LAN, industrial bus systems)
