Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Technician to provide comprehensive onsite support for a major corporate client in Augsburg. Day-to-day responsibilities include the deployment (rollout) of new IT hardware, providing 2nd level onsite support for approximately 3,000 Windows clients, and maintaining the overall IT Workplace environment. A critical component of the job is troubleshooting and resolving faults on specialized industrial hardware, such as Panel PCs and Industrial Tablets. Candidates must possess a completed professional qualification in IT, such as an IT Specialist (System Integration or Application Development), and demonstrate professional experience in IT hardware rollout. The position requires strong knowledge of Windows Client OS up to version 10, MS Office, Mac, and CAD environments, along with excellent German language skills and a Class B driving license. Required Skills

Education

Completed professional qualification as an IT Specialist (Application Development or System Integration), Industrial System Technician, IT Management Assistant, Network Administrator, PC and Network Specialist, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT hardware rollout
  • Professional experience in providing 2nd level support for Windows clients
  • Experience with industrial hardware fault resolution (e.g., Panel PCs, Industrial Tablets)
