Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the commercial and accounting aspects of grid operations at Cologne Bonn Airport. The Head of Team will be responsible for contract management related to grid usage and metering, ensuring accurate data capture, validation, and substitution for network balancing and billing. Key tasks include preparing and issuing grid usage invoices, pre-booking transactions, and ensuring compliance with German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) regulations, including implementing new requirements in metering. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Energy Management, extensive relevant professional experience, and deep familiarity with energy law, grid operations, and specialized software solutions like BelVis, Siglon, and MSB Cockpit. The successful candidate will also lead and develop the team, manage budgets, and coordinate external service providers, offering a unique opportunity to shape the airport's grid balancing operations.
