Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Instrumentation, Control, and Electrical Systems (IC&E/EMSR) Engineer looking to contribute their expertise to the industrialization of cathode material production. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the planning, design, and project engineering of IC&E systems for production plants, including creating concepts, specifications, and detailed planning documents. The engineer will select and specify sensors, actuators, control systems (SPS/DCS), and field devices, ensuring compliance with critical standards like IEC, VDE, ATEX, and functional safety (SIL). Key requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, professional experience in industrial plant construction, and proficiency with CAE tools like EPLAN or AutoCAD. The position requires coordination with various disciplines and external suppliers, overseeing installation and commissioning, and ensuring technical documentation is thorough and accurate. The role is primarily based in Weimar, with travel required to the Bitterfeld-Wolfen site.
