Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician at IBU-tec, you will join Europe's only producer of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP), a critical component for electric vehicle and energy storage batteries. Your daily responsibilities will center on analyzing battery material samples using state-of-the-art instrumental analytics and constructing lab-scale batteries to test performance. Beyond routine testing, you will take partial or full responsibility for development projects, including resource planning and presenting results to management. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep expertise in battery electrochemistry within a collaborative, cross-departmental environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Laboratory Assistant (Laborant), Food Technology Specialist, Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Physical Technical Assistant, or Biological Technical Assistant (BTA).

- Professional experience in a laboratory environment
- Experience with analytical equipment and methods
- Experience in independent project implementation and development
- Experience in resource planning and results presentation
- Professional background in chemical or physical technical assistance

Additional
- Must be willing to work in a multi-shift system including early, late, and night shifts, as well as weekend shifts. Role is based in Weimar, Germany.
