Job Summary

This role is for a detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer eager to actively shape and drive test automation within agile projects, contributing to digital solutions with societal relevance. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the specification, planning, implementation, and execution of automated tests, documenting results, creating reports, and maintaining test environments. The engineer will collaborate closely with colleagues through pair programming and code reviews, and integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or a related field, 3+ years of experience in test automation for complex web projects or specialized applications, knowledge of current testing methods (ideally ISTQB certified), and practical experience with object-oriented programming languages like Java or JavaScript. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or comparable qualification; ISTQB certification is desirable

Experience

  • 3+ years experience in test automation of complex website projects or specialized applications
  • Experience with current test methods and software quality assurance
  • Experience with common test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium)
  • Practical experience in object-oriented programming languages (Java or JavaScript)
  • Desirable experience with testing microservice architectures
  • Desirable experience with load and performance testing
