Job Summary

This role offers an exciting and varied challenge within the dynamic environment of a major German airport, focusing on maintaining the logistical heart of the operation. The Service Technician will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of all baggage and conveyor sorting systems (BHS/CSS). Key day-to-day activities include independently managing 24/7 control center tasks for the technical area of the sorting systems, proactively identifying and resolving functional disruptions to ensure smooth baggage handling processes, and performing comprehensive inspection and maintenance work on all components. The ideal candidate must have completed training as an industrial electrician or mechatronics technician, possess several years of relevant professional experience in conveyor technology, and demonstrate strong knowledge of mechanical and control systems.
