Job Summary

This leadership role involves heading the Department for Energy Billing, Cost Accounting, and Controlling within the Facility Management of the Georg-August University Göttingen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a substantial energy budget (approximately 48 million Euros), overseeing personnel, and ensuring effective budget control and forecasting. Key daily tasks include active contract management, establishing new contractual relationships with third parties, processing service billing, and conducting detailed cost analyses such as benchmarking and life-cycle cost accounting. The role requires preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for high-level decision-makers, including the university management, and driving the implementation of decisions, particularly within tight budgetary constraints.
