Job Summary

This doctoral researcher position focuses on cutting-edge research within the Cluster of Excellence “Balance of the Microverse,” specifically developing novel synthetic methods for the site-selective chemical modification of peptides. The successful candidate will apply these methods to modify natural products involved in microbial signaling and communication. Day-to-day tasks include performing independent laboratory experiments, analyzing data, generating figures for scientific publications, and writing manuscripts. The role requires a Master's degree in organic chemistry or a closely related field, coupled with laboratory experience in organic synthesis, photocatalysis, and peptide chemistry. Education

Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of analysis and characterization of organic compounds is required
