Job Summary

This full-time role at the Airbus site in Hamburg-Finkenwerder involves operating, maintaining, and managing technical building facilities, with a specific focus on fire protection and safety systems. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end management of external services, including selecting and contracting suppliers, obtaining quotes, technical clarification, and controlling invoices. Key daily tasks include coordinating, instructing, and supervising external companies, creating necessary work instructions, and ensuring all maintenance activities comply with strict Airbus processes. A major component of the role is planning and monitoring maintenance, scheduling inspections, and organizing legally mandated expert examinations to ensure safe operation according to regulatory standards (BetrSichV). The ideal candidate must possess a technical qualification (Technician or Specialist/Master Craftsman) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics, coupled with at least two years of experience in construction or project management, profound SAP user skills, and fluent German and intermediate English proficiency.
