Job Summary
Join the Paderborn District Administration's 40-person IT Service team as a Senior IT/Solution Architect, driving the digital transformation of public administration. This role involves the continuous analysis and development of the existing IT system landscape, defining technical architecture standards, and evaluating new IT solutions for suitability, security, and economic viability. You will lead IT and digitalization projects from a technical perspective, translating complex business requirements into actionable technical concepts. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics and at least three years of relevant experience in an architecture or project management role. Success requires strong analytical skills, expertise in architecture frameworks like TOGAF/ITIL, and excellent communication abilities to bridge the gap between IT and specialized departments. This is a permanent, full-time position offering job security, flexible working hours, and 30 days of annual leave.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as an IT Architect, Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or IT Project Manager
- Professional experience in the conception and evaluation of IT architectures (including system integration and data flows)
- Routine application of architecture standards and frameworks (TOGAF, EAM, or ITIL)
