Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity for a qualified Technical Assistant to join the Clinical Toxicology and Poison Control Center in Munich on a 24-month, part-time contract. The role is critical for the department, which uniquely integrates poison control, intensive care, addiction medicine, and laboratory services in Germany. Day-to-day tasks involve performing complex chemical-toxicological analyses of drugs and pharmaceuticals in human samples, primarily utilizing advanced mass spectrometric methods (LC-MS, GC-MS) and immunological techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for QM-compliant documentation, independent evaluation of results, and the crucial work of developing, validating, and optimizing analytical methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Candidates must hold a relevant technical or Bachelor's degree and demonstrate expert knowledge in LCMS/GCMS and pre-analytics, coupled with excellent organizational skills and a patient-oriented approach.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Pharmaceutical-Technical Assistant (PTA), Medical-Technical Assistant (MTA), Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), or a relevant Bachelor's degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical-toxicological analysis
- Professional experience in LCMS/GCMS and pre-analytics
- Experience in developing, validating, and optimizing analytical methods
- Experience with quality management documentation and SOP creation
