Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated student to join cutting-edge translational research in neuroimmunology and biological psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at TUM Klinikum Rechts der Isar in Munich. This part-time, temporary role (10-15 hours/week for 12 months) focuses on supporting a research project investigating neuroimmunological mechanisms using high-dimensional single-cell analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities are heavily lab-focused, including isolating peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from human blood and preparing/staining immune cells for flow cytometric analysis. Candidates must be undergraduate or graduate students in fields such as Biology, Medicine, or Biomedical Science, ideally possessing prior laboratory experience and strong communication skills for effective teamwork. A key mandatory requirement is the ability to work regularly on Saturdays.
