Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Service Technician to join a leading European IT company specializing in comprehensive IT and e-commerce solutions in Wolfsburg. The core function involves providing critical 1st and 2nd Level (and occasional 3rd Level) support, managing tickets using BPoS, and ensuring smooth IT operations. Day-to-day tasks include installing and imaging notebooks, supporting Canon Uniflow printers, managing employee onboarding/offboarding, and administering mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows 10) via Intune. Key qualifications include a completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) and professional experience in onsite service or technical support. This position offers a varied workload in an international setting, regulated working hours, and the potential for permanent employment after an initial temporary contract.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT field, such as IT Specialist for System Integration, or equivalent qualification/experience
Experience
- Professional experience in onsite service, user support, or 1st/2nd Level Support (Remote or Onsite)
- Experience in Workplace Service with devices like PCs, Notebooks, and iPhones
- Experience with ticketing systems (advantageous)
