Job Summary

This role involves the independent execution of technical activities crucial for the development of diagnostic test systems, focusing specifically on Point of Care (PoC) devices. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting variance and comparative analyses, as well as batch and tolerance evaluations. A key part of the job includes verifying system and/or assay performance, which requires creating experimental designs and detailed work instructions. Candidates must be proficient in statistical analysis, using tools like JMP, to evaluate experimental results and present findings to the team. The position also requires generating comprehensive result reports and documentation, and actively contributing to the refinement of existing methods and processes. Success in this role demands a background as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent, with specific experience in developing diagnostic measurement systems, particularly within immunochemistry for PoC applications.
