Job Summary

This critical role involves managing and continuously developing a cutting-edge electrical testing facility in Erlangen, focused on qualifying battery storage systems and components, including medium- and low-voltage switchgear and HIL test benches. The Electrical Test Field Manager acts as the Responsible Electrical Specialist (vEFK), ensuring absolute electrical safety, regulatory compliance (German standards like VDE, DGUV V3), and efficient operation of the infrastructure. Key duties include leading an international, interdisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, coordinating daily testing and installation activities, and overseeing the maintenance, documentation, and continuous improvement of the facility. The ideal candidate must possess extensive practical experience as an electrical specialist in the medium-voltage sector, proven leadership skills, and essential certifications for switching authorization and working under live parts, making this a highly specialized and safety-critical leadership position.
