Job Summary

This permanent position seeks a dedicated Lab Technician specializing in Substance Logistics for a pharmaceutical client near Mannheim. The core responsibilities involve the precise preparation and management of chemical substances, including weighing, dissolving, and automated processing using specialized pipetting robots to produce ready assay plates. A significant part of the job focuses on logistics management, requiring you to handle digital inventory documentation, accept packages, create global shipping documentation, and track shipments diligently. You will be responsible for setting up new processing protocols on the automated systems and communicating internally and externally with scientists and shipping departments to coordinate new assay profiles and manage processing orders efficiently. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Chemical or Biological Laboratory Assistant and ideally have initial experience in a lab setting, particularly with automated production equipment and chemical handling. Fluent German skills are required for necessary internal and external communication.
