Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Automation Engineer looking to join a specialized machine construction company near Regensburg. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing orders, clarifying technical details with product specialists and suppliers, and performing hands-on programming tasks, specifically using Siemens S7 1500. A critical part of the job involves creating visualizations using VisiWin and generating comprehensive documentation for sensors and measuring devices. You will be responsible for testing units in the assembly hall, conducting commissioning at customer sites, and providing technical support for retrofits and complaints. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification) and possesses strong experience in Siemens control technology and visualization tools. Excellent written and spoken German and English skills are essential for effective communication with both internal teams and end customers.
