Job Summary
This role involves developing, adapting, testing, and commissioning programs for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), focusing heavily on Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, or comparable systems like Allen Bradley or Rockwell. The successful candidate will analyze automation requirements, troubleshoot faults in PLC programs and associated systems, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including program and circuit diagrams. Collaboration with engineers and technicians, alongside training operating personnel on automated systems, are core responsibilities. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in electrical or automation engineering who is dedicated to continuous improvement and optimizing existing automation solutions to boost efficiency and productivity for leading clients in Germany.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman, or a completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology
