Job Summary

This is a key opportunity for an experienced Electrical or Automation Engineer/Technician to join a major industrial client in Oberhausen on a permanent basis. The role involves leading complex projects within the future-oriented energy sector, specifically focusing on Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, and Gas technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of Electrical, Measurement, Control, and Regulation (EMSR/E&I) plant projects, from new construction to retrofitting. You will be the central point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, responsible for defining technical specifications, coordinating all project partners, and leading the EMSR trade within the project structure. Furthermore, the role requires participation in technical risk assessments (HAZOP), performing cost controlling using SAP, and handling claim management. Candidates must possess a background in Electrical/Automation Engineering, significant project leadership experience in plant construction, and expertise in medium voltage systems and ATEX directives.
