Job Summary

This role in Darmstadt focuses on the planning, development, and implementation of critical automation systems within the plant construction sector, specifically for drinking and wastewater facilities. Day-to-day tasks involve the conception and design of automation solutions, rigorous programming and implementation of PLC (SPS) and SCADA systems, and ensuring flawless functionality through loop checks and system commissioning. The professional will also manage technical coordination with clients, provide essential on-site and remote maintenance services, and train operational staff. Success requires an engineering degree or technician qualification in Electrical or Automation Technology, coupled with several years of practical experience in PLC programming, particularly utilizing TIA Portal and S7, alongside visualization expertise with WinCC and HMI/SCADA.
