Job Summary
As a Chemical Engineer specializing in chemical synthesis, you will play a vital role in developing innovative process solutions for pharmaceutical active ingredients and diagnostic tests. Based in Munich, your daily responsibilities include managing the development of organic-chemical materials, overseeing production trials at both technical and production scales, and optimizing reaction parameters to ensure process stability. You will be deeply involved in risk analysis, change management, and troubleshooting production deviations. This position is particularly attractive for those who enjoy taking projects from laboratory scale to full production readiness within a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary team. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Chemistry with a focus on organic synthesis or synthetic chemistry; a PhD (Promotion) is ideally preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in synthetic chemistry
- Experience in experimental planning and the execution of test series
- Experience in a production or pilot plant environment is preferred
- Experience in evaluating production deviations and coordinating troubleshooting activities
- Experience in creating safety and quality-relevant documentation
