The successful candidate will act as the central interface between scientists and funding bodies, providing crucial consultation on the use of funds, cost calculations, and financial planning. Day-to-day tasks include processing payment receipts, performing SOLL/IST analysis, managing deadlines, and ensuring meticulous documentation for audits of both ongoing and completed projects. Key requirements include a university degree in Economics or Administrative Sciences, or a relevant commercial/administrative vocational qualification combined with several years of current financial management experience. The position demands strong analytical skills, high numerical affinity, and excellent German and good English language proficiency to handle complex funding guidelines and support the faculty's research service.
