Job Summary

This role involves working as a Laboratory Technician focused on the quality control and release of specialized pearlescent pigments. Day-to-day tasks include performing software-supported data evaluation, particularly color data analysis, documenting and assessing results according to GMP rules within laboratory management databases, and communicating findings to internal stakeholders. The technician will prepare product releases, assist in drafting and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test plans, and conduct necessary training. A key component of the role is proactively supporting deviation and complaint management within the release laboratory and assisting the Laboratory Management with process improvement ideas related to quality and safety goals. Candidates must possess training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, relevant professional experience in quality control and release administration, and strong knowledge of ERP (SAP) and LIMS systems. Excellent color vision and fluency in both German and English are essential prerequisites for success in this critical quality assurance function.
