Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the visual and instrumental assessment of colors to ensure strict adherence to quality standards. Day-to-day activities include evaluating colors under defined lighting conditions, analyzing color data across various color spaces, and collaborating closely with the production team. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting deviations, supporting colorimetric projects, and optimizing measurement methods. The position is ideal for professionals with a strong sense of color perception and a background in laboratory environments. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of production and laboratory science, contributing to the development of new color spaces and experimental series. A high level of quality awareness and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential for success in this position.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Physics/Chemistry Laboratory Technician, Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in color matching and quality control of pigments is highly preferred
- Experience in visual color assessment under defined lighting conditions
- Practical experience using laboratory software, LIMS, and SAP systems
- Professional experience applying troubleshooting methods such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Experience working in a collaborative environment between production and laboratory teams
