Job Summary

This role is for an IT Service Technician focused on maintaining and operating high-availability data center infrastructure in Cologne and Düsseldorf. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, cabling, and electronic connection of server hardware and network components, including necessary repairs. Day-to-day tasks involve independently handling customer inquiries and actively monitoring the company's proprietary data center infrastructure and electronic systems. This position requires a strong technical aptitude, hardware knowledge, and a service-oriented approach. After initial training, the technician will join a team operating on a rotating shift schedule, contributing to digital sovereignty efforts within a leading German cloud provider specializing in Open Source Cloud services and IT modernization for enterprise and public sector clients.
