Job Summary

This role is for a passionate MRI Physicist to join the highly advanced Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Hospital Bonn (UKB). The successful candidate will focus on clinical sequence development and quantitative MRI methods, working closely with clinical and scientific teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include actively supporting ongoing research, developing and optimizing advanced MRI techniques such as quantitative MRI (e.g., Mapping, MR Fingerprinting), Diffusion MRI, and fast AI-supported procedures. Key requirements include a university degree in Physics or Medical Physics, expertise in MRI physics/imaging, and a strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.
