Job Summary

This role is centered on the conception, configuration, and robust administration of highly scalable Linux environments. The Linux Engineer will be responsible for driving automation and deployment strategies utilizing modern tools like Ansible and Kubernetes. Core duties include maintaining and evolving the existing Linux server infrastructure, specifically Ubuntu, managing monitoring solutions such as Zabbix, and overseeing the VMware Cluster, including the DataCore storage layer. The position requires ensuring service availability through regular maintenance, installations, and updates, as well as making informed decisions based on monitoring data. Candidates must hold a university degree in IT or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with excellent IT knowledge, diligence, reliability, and fluent written and spoken German.
