Job Summary
This role is centered on providing comprehensive IT support and service management for business customers, covering everything from initial system installation to detailed error analysis and resolution. The IT Service Engineer will independently manage incoming service requests via phone and email through a dedicated ticket system, primarily communicating in German but occasionally utilizing English. A core responsibility involves accurately qualifying complex technical problems, implementing solutions, or escalating issues efficiently to specialized support tiers and external service providers. Furthermore, the role requires meticulous documentation of resolved issues and contributions to the central knowledge base. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification in IT System Integration or an equivalent IT degree, coupled with very strong general IT knowledge. While expertise in Voice and Telephony technologies is advantageous, a careful, independent, and reliable work ethic is essential for success in this permanent, full-time position.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a university degree in an IT field.
Experience
- Professional experience in customer support, ranging from installation to complex error analysis
- Experience working independently with ticket systems to manage incoming inquiries
- Experience in creating clear and meaningful technical documentation
