Job Summary

This role focuses on ensuring the seamless implementation and sustained functionality of IoT solutions within client buildings, contributing directly to energy efficiency and CO2 reduction. As a Building Automation Technician, you will be responsible for on-site hardware commissioning, including sensors, actuators, gateways, and edge devices, in close coordination with facility management. A core part of the job involves systematic technical infrastructure analysis and integrating proprietary solutions into existing Building Automation Systems (BAS) using standard protocols like Modbus, BACnet, and Saia S-Bus. You will act as the primary technical interface for customers and partners, providing qualified support both remotely and on-site, and ensuring structured documentation of all installations and configurations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in electrical or automation technology, practical experience with BAS commissioning and system integration, and excellent problem-solving skills to manage technical complexities and drive successful, sustainable project outcomes.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or Technician degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Refrigeration and Climate Technology, Energy Electronics, Plant Technology, or Building Automation.

Experience

  • Fundamentally practical experience in the commissioning of Building Automation Systems
  • Experience in DDC/PLC programming
  • Professional experience in system integration
  • Proven success in the successful implementation of technical projects
