Job Summary

This role involves acting as an expert assessor responsible for the meticulous review and evaluation of documentation related to the final disposal of radioactive waste in Germany’s repositories. The specialist will ensure strict compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and project requirements, creating detailed German inspection and Quality Control (QC) reports for official submission. Daily tasks include the independent processing of complex work orders, managing project-related data, and ensuring timely implementation according to QA and project management guidelines. The ideal candidate must hold a completed degree in natural sciences or engineering and possess relevant professional experience in this highly specialized area. Knowledge of nuclear technology and radiation protection is a significant advantage, enabling effective coordination with colleagues, authorities, and external submitters, while also contributing to conferences and working meetings.
