Job Summary

This role requires a highly organized High Voltage Cable Technician responsible for overseeing and executing construction and assembly projects within the high-voltage cable network. Daily tasks involve leading site operations, ensuring smooth implementation according to technical standards and safety regulations, and conducting intermediate and final acceptance testing for quality assurance. A crucial aspect of the role is planning and projecting smaller high-voltage cable system projects from conception through completion, and actively contributing technical expertise to substation projects. Furthermore, the technician acts as the primary decision-maker during system faults, ensuring rapid network restoration and safe, compliant operations on site by assuming plant responsibility through a regulated award procedure. This position is ideal for an experienced Electrical Engineering professional who excels under pressure, maintains a structured approach, and is prepared to participate in an on-call rotation to guarantee continuous network operation.
