Job Summary

This role involves essential laboratory work for Munich's largest municipal utility, the Münchner Stadtentwässerung, focusing on wastewater analysis and environmental protection at the Gut Großlappen sewage treatment plant. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for critical day-to-day tasks including sample preparation, creating calibration solutions, and performing complex chemical analyses using methods such as UV-VIS photometry, gravimetric determinations, and gas chromatography. A key aspect of the role is maintaining laboratory equipment, which includes performing minor maintenance and coordinating external service providers, alongside managing the procurement of necessary consumables and spare parts. Candidates must possess a completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical-Technical Assistant, coupled with strong knowledge of chemical analytics and a high degree of accuracy and coordination skills. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Technical knowledge and manual dexterity (advantageous)
