Job Summary

The University of Rostock is seeking two dedicated Research Associates in the Didactics of Computer Science. In these roles, you will primarily focus on research aimed at achieving a doctoral degree in the field, contributing to scientific qualification. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting research, delivering engaging, research-based lectures, practicals, and school-based exercises (2 SWS) in computer science didactics and fundamental school computer science. You will also be responsible for designing, preparing, evaluating, and grading student examinations. Additionally, you will support scientific organizational tasks, including study coordination and committee work, and assist in organizing and conducting scientific events, culminating in the publication of your research findings. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (State Examination, Diploma, Master, or comparable degree) for teaching in Computer Science. Desirable: Completion of a teaching traineeship (Referendariat) or proof of working as a teacher in Computer Science.

Experience

  • Proven experience in planning and conducting courses/lectures
  • Proven practical experience in the conception and development of teaching materials in the field of Didactics of Computer Science
  • Desirable: Proven practical experience in planning and conducting gifted education programs in Computer Science

Additional
