Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Development Engineer specializing in Sensor Technology, focusing on creating innovative sensor concepts for capturing critical plant parameters like pressure, temperature, voltage, and current within switchgear. Day-to-day responsibilities include the design and integration of sensors, defining interfaces to higher-level assemblies (RTUs), and developing control concepts for motors in switchgear. A key component of the job involves planning and executing comprehensive test concepts to validate functional limits and utilizing digital information for controlling gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Measurement Technology, or a related field, coupled with strong foundational knowledge in sensor technology, signal processing, and medium-voltage technology.
