Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer and Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and programming innovative PLC control systems using platforms like Siemens S7 or Beckhoff TwinCAT. Your day-to-day work involves creating visualizations and user interfaces via WinCC or TIA Portal, diagnosing and troubleshooting system errors, and ensuring seamless integration at client sites. A significant portion of the role involves traveling globally to perform on-site commissioning of complex machinery and providing technical training to operating personnel. This position is ideal for technical experts who enjoy hands-on problem-solving in a production environment. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, completed vocational training with further qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Techniker) or Bachelor Professional.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in PLC programming with Siemens S7, Beckhoff, or similar systems
- Proven experience in the commissioning of complex machines and industrial plants at customer sites
- Professional experience in creating visualizations and user interfaces
- Experience in diagnosing and rectifying technical malfunctions in production environments

- Willingness to travel worldwide for project assignments is required.
