Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced HVAC Project Engineer to manage complex heating and ventilation projects, often within the specialized field of shipbuilding and maritime technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking full responsibility for the planning and design of HVAC systems, adhering strictly to the phases outlined in the HOAI. The engineer will coordinate extensively with subcontractors, site management, and the client, ensuring projects remain on budget and schedule while maintaining rigorous quality management standards. A key part of the role involves overseeing the commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration, climate, and ventilation units. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Building Services or Supply Engineering, coupled with professional experience and a strong command of technical regulations, VOB, and HOAI standards, demonstrating proficiency with planning software like Trimble Nova.
