Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Chemical Technician specializing in Quality Control within a traditional, growing pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Cologne, part of the global Opella Group. The successful candidate will be crucial in maintaining high quality standards for Consumer Healthcare medicines. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing incoming goods inspections and in-process controls, taking raw material samples, and ensuring strict GMP compliance across all production processes. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining essential quality documentation and analyzing deviations and customer complaints. Candidates must possess vocational training as a Chemical or Pharmaceutical Technician, coupled with professional experience, strong knowledge of chemical, physical, and instrumental testing procedures, and proficiency in LIMS and MS Office. This position requires readiness for shift work and offers competitive compensation based on the Chemical Collective Agreement.
