Job Summary

This role involves the crucial task of planning and designing electrical controls for sophisticated machinery and industrial plants. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and parts lists, alongside selecting and sizing appropriate electrical components. Day-to-day work includes managing projects from initial concept through to final commissioning and collaborating closely with mechanical, automation, and manufacturing departments. The ideal candidate must possess a background in electrical engineering (Technician, Master Craftsman, or degree level) and practical experience in electrical design, preferably within mechanical or plant engineering. Proficiency in standard CAE systems like EPLAN or WSCAD, coupled with strong knowledge of relevant electrical standards (VDE, DIN, IEC), is essential for success in this structured and communicative role.
