Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the maintenance, upkeep, and monitoring of the technical infrastructure within a data center in Cologne. Key daily tasks include managing energy and building technology, emergency power supplies, UPS systems, fire protection systems, cooling systems, and climate control technology. The technician will also oversee the existing Building Management System (BMS), coordinate necessary repairs, and implement modernization measures. Success in this role requires a completed technical apprenticeship, strong technical understanding across various trades, and experience with BMS, IT, and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate is self-reliant, flexible, and solution-oriented, possessing excellent organizational skills to coordinate external contractors and manage ongoing issues via a ticketing system.
