Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated MRI Physicist specializing in clinical sequence development and quantitative MRI methods, joining the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Clinic at the University Hospital Bonn (UKB). The successful candidate will work closely with clinical and scientific teams to actively support and advance research projects, focusing on modern MRI techniques such as quantitative abdominal and cardiac MRI (e.g., Mapping, Stress Perfusion, MR Fingerprinting), diffusion MRI of the torso, and fast, AI-supported MRI procedures. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing new methods for interventional MRI, developing and maintaining quantitative image analysis tools, and contributing to scientific publications and grant applications. The position requires a degree in Physics or Medical Physics and expertise in MRI physics/imaging, offering an attractive framework for successful interdisciplinary research within a leading radiological clinic equipped with seven state-of-the-art MRI systems.
