Job Summary

This pivotal role seeks an experienced Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of 10 Embedded Linux and Functional Safety Developers for a leading provider of mission-critical communication, computer, and control technology in the rail and embedded electronics sectors based in Nuremberg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the team, coordinating resources with project managers, leading smaller development initiatives, and improving internal software development processes and workflows. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Embedded Systems, coupled with demonstrable experience leading a technical team, ideally focused on Linux-based software or real-time operating systems. Expertise in C, Python, Git, CI/CD, and strong system understanding of Linux and containers are essential.
